Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Executive to join our team in the fast-paced trade show exhibit sales industry. As an Account Executive, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth by actively pursuing and closing sales opportunities, cultivating relationships with clients, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. This role requires a strong combination of sales expertise, industry knowledge, and exceptional communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities:

  1. Generate Sales: Proactively identify and pursue sales opportunities to achieve and exceed sales targets for trade show exhibit products and services. This includes prospecting, lead generation, and cold calling to build a robust sales pipeline.
  2. Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their unique business needs and objectives. Continuously provide exceptional customer service, acting as the main point of contact throughout the sales process and beyond.
  3. Consultative Selling: Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand client requirements and propose tailored solutions that align with their goals. Present and demonstrate trade show exhibit products and services to clients, highlighting their features, benefits, and value proposition.
  4. Negotiation and Closing: Develop and execute effective sales strategies and tactics to negotiate favorable terms and close deals. Address client objections and concerns, providing suitable solutions to ensure customer satisfaction and maximize sales opportunities.
  5. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams, including design, production, and logistics, to ensure seamless execution and delivery of trade show exhibits. Maintain clear communication channels to provide accurate and timely information to all stakeholders.
  6. Market and Industry Knowledge: Stay up to date with industry trends, competitors, and market conditions. Continuously expand product knowledge to effectively articulate value and differentiate our offerings in the trade show exhibit industry.
  7. Sales Reporting and Forecasting: Accurately maintain sales records, activity reports, and customer information using CRM systems. Provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports to management, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions when needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
  • Proven track record of success in B2B sales, preferably within the trade show exhibit industry
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
  • Results-oriented mindset with a drive to achieve and exceed sales targets
  • Excellent presentation and demonstration abilities
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tracking tools
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as within a team
  • Flexibility to travel for client meetings, industry events, and trade shows as required
