Job Description
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
In Partnership with Program Director, maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety, environmental and infection control standards. Maintains HFAP guidelines and ACR guidelines.
In Partnership with Program Director, overall supervisory responsibility for the Radiology & CT staff at all Intuitive Health/ HOSPITAL PARTNER ER and Urgent Care facilities.
Oversee daily activities of the radiology staff to optimize productivity and census manages when appropriate.
HFAP guidelines, The Joint Commission and ACR guidelines.
Ensure that all radiology staff conduct all radiology studies in accordance with ACR standards, imaging protocols, State and Federal law.
Responsible for hiring, training, performance reviews, and termination of the radiology staff in conjunction with Sr. Leadership.
Maintain Radiology staff schedule, ensuring all positions are covered.
Ensures the delivery of quality service in area of operations. Acts as an educational resource and is available for consultation to medical, nursing and administrative staff.
Attends meetings as required and participates on committees as required or directed
Establishes and maintains communications within the department and with other hospital departments.
Review and uphold lab policies and procedures.
Maintain and develop radiology policies and procedures with input from ownership and upper Leadership. Participate in monthly governing board and quarterly quality assurance meetings.
Ensure adherence to all law and regulations regarding employment, affirmative action, HIPAA, safety and drugs.
Communicate effectively with administration and Leadership.
Follow and enforce all company policies.
Follow all HIPAA policies and procedures.

REQUIRED EDUCATION
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or related field preferred
REQUIRED SKILLS
Ability to effectively interact with customers to understand their needs and explain data
Microsoft Office
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in person and via telephone with members, employer groups, brokers, physicians, and physician office staff using strong dialogue and customer service competencies.
Written communication
ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS
Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
Current registry with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.) required.
Must have adequate CT experience and proven competence.
1–3 years of radiology leadership or lead technologist experience preferred
BLS Certification required.
Exceptional communication skills and leadership skills are required.
Demonstrated stable work history.

This position requires intermittent physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping and crouching as well as lifting and supporting patients.
