    Job Description

    American Dairy Queen Corp. has an opening for a Data Engineer in Bloomington, MN. Job duties include: Design, architect, and document the database schema and data pipelines. Design, implement, and test data collection, storage, and mapping procedures. Research, design, and test computational environments to support analytical modeling (statistics, machine learning, optimization, and simulation). Develop statistical models for data quality assurance and data imputation. Collaboratively troubleshoot technical and performance issues within the data platform. Write, optimize, and automate data processing tasks. Deploy and maintain system and database monitoring tools. Maintain central repository/code base for production code (e.g. GitHub).

    The US national base salary range for this position is $147,077 - $153,064. This position is also eligible for a bonus. The base salary range displayed reflects the targeted hiring range for positions across all US locations. Individual pay is determined by job-related skills, work location and relevant education or experience.

     

    Qualifications

    Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field. Requires 5 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Must have 5 years of experience with/in: API integration; Azure cloud infrastructure and distributed computing; large-scale analytics systems; advanced SQL development skills and an in-depth understanding of database technologies; cloud-based ETL architecture/development, implementation and support; and working with Microsoft BI Tools including Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Lake Analytics, Azure SQL Database, Data Bricks and Azure SQL Data warehouse and Azure Data Factory.

    Employer will also accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Must have 3 years of experience with/in: API integration; Azure cloud infrastructure and distributed computing; large-scale analytics systems; advanced SQL development skills and an in-depth understanding of database technologies; cloud-based ETL architecture/development, implementation and support; and working with Microsoft BI Tools including Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Lake Analytics, Azure SQL Database, Data Bricks and Azure SQL Data warehouse and Azure Data Factory.     Work Environment

    Most positions located out of our global headquarters in Bloomington, MN will work a hybrid work schedule where you will work 3 collaboration days a week.  Additional in office time may be required to support team/project needs.
