Job Description

As a Production Engineer in our Category Textiles, you will play a key role in developing high-performing textile production together with our suppliers. Working closely with cross-functional teams and manufacturing partners, you will help ensure that our products meet customer expectations on quality, sustainability, affordability, and functionality. 

You will be responsible for driving supplier performance and securing stable, capable production processes. Through close collaboration with suppliers, you will identify opportunities for improvement, manage risks, and contribute to the development of new and existing products throughout their lifecycle. 

Your main responsibilities will include: 

  • Evaluating and developing supplier production capabilities, facilities, and quality systems. 

  • Securing implementation and compliance of product specifications and technical requirements. 

  • Monitoring supplier quality performance and driving improvement actions based on data and KPI analysis. 

  • Identifying production risks and supporting the development of stable and efficient manufacturing processes. 

  • Leading supplier development initiatives focused on automation, cost optimization, Lean manufacturing, and waste reduction. 

  • Supporting the implementation of recycled and renewable materials to strengthen sustainability performance. 

  • Driving product and production improvements to enhance customer satisfaction, quality, and affordability. 

  • Managing quality and compliance deviations, including root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive actions. 

  • Contributing production expertise throughout product development, industrialization, and implementation. 

A key part of the role is building strong partnerships with suppliers and stakeholders, creating the conditions for continuous improvement and long-term business success.

Qualifications

We believe you have a solid background in textile manufacturing, production engineering, supplier development, quality assurance, or a related field. You enjoy working close to production, solving problems, and creating measurable improvements together with others. 

To be successful in this role, you bring a combination of technical expertise, business understanding, and strong collaboration skills. 

You will also likely have: 

  • Knowledge of quality assurance systems, materials, production economics, and cost structures. 

  • Experience working with Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies such as FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, Process Control, or similar tools. 

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn insights into actions and results. 

  • Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
