Must-Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Public Health, Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or a related field — or equivalent experience. Master’s degree preferred.

• 4+ years of experience with large databases, data verification, and data management, or 2+ years of IT experience.

Required Skills

• Experience working with Medicare, Medicaid, and Marketplace analytics.

• Strong SQL skills, including writing complex queries, SELECT statements, and multiple JOIN types.

• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Power Query, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, aggregations, formatting, and building nested formulas for metrics and financial modeling).

• Power BI experience, including familiarity with DAX and Power Pivot.

• Experience with financial analytics tools and basic financial modeling.

• Solid understanding of payment methodologies such as DRG pricing, APC, and EAPG.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Python or R.

• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to support QAI (Quality and Affordability Initiatives), MLR (Medical Loss Ratio) targets, and related KPIs
