Your purpose in the role

The Learning Consultant (LC) for our Key Accounts channel, is the key L&D expert responsible for driving learning and development excellence that grows client impact and revenue through strategic consultancy.

The L&D expertise of the LC enables them to consult directly with clients and be a thinking partner within sales, working closely with them to align learning solutions with revenue objectives, enabling us to win significant revenue opportunities. 

The LC will design and deliver high-quality client workshops, which not only retain consulting and facilitation expertise within the team but also showcase Insights’ strengths to clients.

Additionally, the LC will facilitate seamless cross-functional collaboration, ensuring that Sales, Product & Innovation, and Practitioner Communities initiatives are aligned to offer maximum value to our clients and foster an active practitioner network that engages with Insights’ tools and methodologies in meaningful ways.

Job Description

What you’ll do to succeed

Consultancy in Sales Pitches and Proposals

  • Partner with Sales teams to provide OD & learning expertise input during client meetings and pitches.
  • Bringing commercial value in crafting compelling, L&D-focused proposals that align with client needs and Insights' solutions

Learning Solution Design Support

  • Assist in the development of detailed briefs that outline client challenges and learning objectives.
  • Help shape the learning design, ensuring that the proposed solutions are aligned with business outcomes and the client's strategic goals.

Sales Team Capability Development

  • Provide coaching and mentoring to Sales teams to enhance their knowledge of L&D principles, Insights products, and how to effectively position these within the sales process.
  • Conduct training sessions on integrating learning methodologies into client conversations to strengthen the consultative selling approach.

Client Learning Needs Assessment

  • Conduct thorough client consultations to assess learning and development needs, identify skill gaps, and recommend targeted L&D interventions.
  • Analyse client organizational challenges and propose tailored learning strategies.

Learning Solution Implementation

  • Follow up with the client / Key Account Manager/Director on the delivery of workshops, programs, and learning interventions, ensuring they are effectively implemented to meet client objectives.

Ongoing Client Consultancy

  • Act as a continuous learning consultant for the sales team, providing strategic advice on the integration of Insights' tools and methodologies into broader organizational processes.
  • Offer post-program consultancy, gathering feedback, measuring impact, and recommending adjustments to future learning interventions.

Consultancy Workshops and Thought Leadership

  • Deliver workshops and thought leadership sessions to the Key Accounts team on emerging trends in L&D, organizational development, and the application of Insights’ products

  • As an expert learning consultant, you will embody, and role model the highest standards of performance for all of our Practitioners and Associate Consultants and develop them to work towards these standards
  • Keeping up to date with the developments in L&D and OD theories around the world and weaving this knowledge into your own and your sales teams’ practice.
  • As a master collaborator and stakeholder manager, you will successfully navigate the relationships to focus on the ultimate goal of living our purpose in everything we do.
  • Enhancing the team capabilities through coaching and mentoring, directly contributing to more effective sales pitches and higher conversion rates.
  • Designing and delivering high-quality client workshops, which not only retain consulting and facilitation expertise within the team but also showcase Insights’ strengths to clients.

 

How you’ll show up

  • As a thinking partner within Sales, working closely with the Account Managers to align learning solutions with revenue objectives, enabling us to win significant revenue opportunities.
  • As a passionate Learning Consultant who sees the boundless possibilities in engaging, developing and empowering our global Practitioner and AC Community
  • A strong advocate for encouraging our ACs to move beyond their initial qualification and engage with the personal and professional development opportunities that are available to them
