Job Description

Hours 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Wage: $10.00-$14.00/hour

Count, receive and process materials and products in a timely and effective manner. This position is an integral part of the InkCycle supply chain.

Reports directly to Distribution Manager.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Compare identifying information and counts of incoming products from InkCycle’s manufacturing facility against identification tags, physical counts, and system (IFS) based data.


Use hand held scanning devices and computer system to distribute product to designated stocking locations.


Use hand held scanning devices and computer system to verify inventory accuracy of incoming products.


Open boxes and other containers and records amounts of products or items received or distributed.


Unpack and examine incoming products, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with Production Facility employees to rectify damages, shortages and inaccuracies.


Attach documentation to follow products through the receiving process.


Sort and place product or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.


Examine articles for defects and records factors causing goods to be returned.


Execute general inventory principles to ensure the accuracy and integrity of inventory.


Recognize and report inventory discrepancies to Inventory and Material Specialists for
further investigation and resolution


Drive forklift and move materials to specified locations.


Ensure safety and housekeeping practices are followed.

Qualifications

Education/Experience:
Less than High School education; Minimum six months to one year working in a warehouse environment preferred. Regularly lifts up to 50 lbs

Must be competent to be certified to operate forklift. Basic Microsoft email, Word and Excel skills required.

Skill: The ability to communicate effectively and work well with others. Stay focused on the task at hand; requires high emphasis on reliability and detail.
