Job Description
i) Engineering /Diploma Graduate in chemical, electrical, electronics and communication, instrumentation engineering or equivalent with 10-12years hands on field experience.
ii) Minimum 10 years’ experience in maintenance of process analyzers in an operating hydrocarbon refinery or similar operating plants in the oil and gas industry
iii) Will be responsible to perform hand on maintenance, repair and servicing of online process analyzers and those used for monitoring the environment for explosive and toxic gases.
iv) He will familiarize himself and implement the company's safety, health and environment management system. He will be fully responsible to ensure the availability of analyzer systems and will be required to generate a daily, monthly report to reflect the percentage availability and submit the failure cause report.
v) Experience in Instrumentation especially in DCS, Gas & Liquid process analyzers such as CEMS / Continuous Emission Monitoring System, Thermo cracker XP, Hamilton D20, Oil in water, NIR / Near Infra-Red analyzers, VIS spectrometers, RVP, pH meter and special instrumentation, Gas chromatograph, Moisture, Oxygen ,applied analytics, Siemens, Emerson GC’s.
vi) Follow plant safety standards and procedures. Be familiar with typical petrochemical plant safety hazards.
vii) Follow standard maintenance procedures, Follow manufacturer's troubleshooting and maintenance procedures.
viii) Implement good housekeeping practices, Troubleshoot and repair Process Gas Chromatographs (FID and TC), Troubleshoot and repair analyzer sample systems.
ix) Follow ISO procedural requirements for calibration and record keeping, Program analyzers for sample times, stream select etc...
x) Perform daily plant preventive maintenance procedures Install and modify sample systems and tubing.
xi) Install and commission new analyzers, Work as a team member with operations, technical, and maintenance.
xii) Improve instrument reliability and reduce maintenance costs, Participate in company safety and training programs.
xiii) Train technicians, Report on work progress & maintenance activities.
xiv) Prepare, Plan and Facilitate all required items necessary for his teams to carry out the assigned tasks.
Should initiate, review and optimized On-Line Analyzers Preventive Maintenance Procedures and Schedules.
Qualifications
