Technical requirements:

• Experience with network engineering and troubleshooting in a large-scale mission-critical environment
• Proficiency in network monitoring and alerting best practices
• Experience with deploying Cisco and Arista networking hardware
• Solid knowledge of F5 load-balancing technologies - iRules, scheduling algorithms, client/server load-balancing, DNS
• Solid knowledge of Fortinet firewall technologies - FortiManager and FortiGate
• Solid knowledge of BGP and Multicast network protocols - BGP, BGP VPNv4, IGMP, PIM SM, PIM DM, MSDP
• Solid knowledge of layer-2 technologies - RSTP, PVST, 802.1Q, Port security, VLANs
• A good understanding of network security protocols - ISAKMP, IPSEC, RADIUS, HTTPS, SSL, MFA, Access-lists, 802.1X
• A good understanding of monitoring and alerting technologies - SNMP, SYSLOG, IP FLOW
• A good understanding of Amazon AWS network technologies - Amazon VPC, AWS Direct Connect, Amazon Route53
• A good understanding of packet analysis tools to troubleshoot complex network issues and assessing security events - Wireshark, Netscout, Corvil
