Job Description

As a Functional Administrator, you ensure the smooth operation of the Financial Consolidation tool and provide Level 1 user support, especially during quarterly closings.

Key Tasks

  • Manage data entry and consolidation environments (exchange rates, scopes, rules)
  • Administer security and access controls (profiles, groups, data access)
  • Provide first-level support to users (access issues, blocking controls)
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems (ERPs, data warehouses)
  • Monitor the application and support quarterly closing activities
  • Contribute to process improvements and maintain documentation
  • Continuously enhance data models based on business and user needs
  • Collaborate closely with Finance, Accounting, and IT teams

Qualifications

Professional / Academic Background

  • Solid understanding of financial and accounting principles
  • Strong interest in information systems and data-driven environments
  • Approximately 3–4 years of professional experience in a similar or equivalent role

Languages

  • English: B2 required (C1 mandatory if French is not spoken)
  • French: B2 preferred (B1 acceptable with commitment to learn and improve French)

Skills

Technical Skills

  • Knowledge of SAP Financial Consolidation (SAP FC) is a plus (not mandatory)
  • Strong interest and basic knowledge in data modelling and database architecture
  • Fundamental understanding of financial consolidation concepts
  • Basic knowledge of IFRS standards

Soft Skills

  • Strong collaboration and organizational abilities
  • Good analytical and synthesis skills, with the ability to communicate key messages clearly
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective interaction with various stakeholders

Tools & Technologies

  • Accounting and EPM tools: SAP FC (or similar), Hyperion Financial Management, Oracle, Tagetik
  • Office tools: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Data & Analytics tools: SAS, Python, Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, Dataiku
