Job Description
We are looking for an experienced SQL Server Database Administrator to join our team. If you are passionate about optimization, performance, and working in complex environments, this opportunity is for you!
Role Objective:
Ensure efficient and secure administration of SQL Server databases in critical environments, guaranteeing high availability, performance, and data integrity.
Main Responsibilities:
- Administration of SQL Server databases on OLAP and OLTP platforms
- Performance analysis and query tuning
- Handling large data volumes (over 1TB), including partitioning, SSIS, SSRS, and native SQL replication
- Process automation using PowerShell scripting
- Managing complex environments to ensure high availability and security
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a SQL Server DBA (systems and application) in highly complex environments
- Solid knowledge of:
- T-SQL
- MS SQL, MS SQL Replication Services, MS SQL Service Broker
- MS Windows Server
- Tools: HP OpenView, CA Harvest, Adobe Creative Cloud
- Experience with cluster environments and Always On
- Experience with Azure database administration is highly valued
- Additional skills appreciated:
- Python and Git
- Microsoft products: SSRS, SSAS, SSIS
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Results-oriented with strong time management
