Job Description

This role is part of the HR & Competence unit. Here we continuously develop our leadership, competence and culture and by that contribute to a meaningful, forward-looking and values-driven brand. This includes securing a solid HR foundation that supports co-workers and the business.
In this role you will become part of a diverse HR team, where you are acting as the right hand of the HR & Competence Manager. Your main assignment is threefold:
• Securing effective and efficient work processes and tools;
• Project leading various HR & Competence related topics within Inter IKEA Systems as well as Inter IKEA Group;
• Supporting the HR & Competence Manager with administrative tasks.

Some tasks that you can expect in this role are to:
• Plan and secure practical arrangements with internal and external stakeholders for meetings and events such as IKEA HR Network meeting;
• Secure that the HR & Competence Year Cycle is updated and communicated with relevant stakeholders;
• Prepare the communication material and updating intranet as well as the external home page;
• Support in agenda management, administration and appointment setting for the HR & Competence Manager.

You are curious and driven to continuously learn about people, teams, the organisation as well as your own development. You are a true ambassador of the IKEA values and have a broad interest in the total IKEA value chain and how it relates to the People agenda. You get energy from a broad diversity of tasks and working in a high speed environment. You also enjoy cooperating with many different functions and take on different perspectives to be able to create short- and long term solutions that create a real impact.

• Excellent communication and organisational skills;
• Written and verbal fluency in English;
• A Bachelor’s degree and work experience in Human Resources or other relevant area;
• Project leading experience in an international environment;
• Experience working with administrative tasks and processes;
• Good knowledge of computer applications like Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Skype, etc.

Additional Information

At IKEA the customer is number one. Our customers come at all times, including evenings and weekends. IKEA expects the products at all times be available to the customer. Therefore you prepare for either the early morning hours and late evening. Availability of time and days is a firm requirement.
