Job Description

ead the Sales and Supply Support team and work with the country Retail Supply Integration team to secure the highest possible goods availability in partnership with the commercial team, taking into account country positioning campaigns, the commercial calendar and local store activities.

  • Secure an efficient and precise range management process for the store.
  • Work actively with the commercial team on the range change process, which is led by the commercial team, by providing information regarding sales space parameters, expected sales starts, quantity and remaining outgoing quantities.
  • Maximise successful replenishment by driving the actions of forecasting and ordering and ensuring they are aligned with the commercial calendar.
  • Work actively together with the Goods Flow Manager in analysing stock discrepancies as part of the inventory management process.
  • Support the Logistics Manager and Business Navigation Manager with the analysis of stock discrepancies as part of the inventory management process.
  • Contribute to the store business plan and logistics action plan.
  • Ensure the logistics actions agreed in the store business plan are implemented within the Sales and Supply Support team.
  • Set goals based on agreed key performance indicators, and monitor the Sales and Supply Support team's performance against agreed goals, adapting and taking action accordingly.
  • Ensure that the Sales and Supply Support team works in compliance with the IKEA Code of Conduct, internal IKEA regulations and local legislation relating to health, safety and security and the environment.
  • Identify, recruit and develop the talents within the Sales and Supply Support team to secure succession planning.
  • Live the IKEA values and nurture a strong and thriving IKEA culture that inspires colleagues to reach extraordinary achievements in the store and specifically in the Sales and Supply Support team.

Qualifications

  • Understand budget, cost and key performance measurements used to plan, follow up and steer the business.
  • Skilled in creating an efficient and cost-effective commercial performance.
  • High level of analytical skills.
  • Understand the business plan process in the store.
  • Understand and actively use all IKEA manuals, particularly the In-store Logistics the IKEA Way and Retail Supply Integration the IKEA Way manuals to build and improve competence.
  • Good numerical skills.
  • Understand sales steering and how to optimise store capacity and secure availability.
  • Experience of working in a retail and/or logistics role, including previous experience of leading others. Problem-solving experience
  • Proven record of meeting goals, deadlines.
  • Ability to identify the need for and drive change in ways of working.
  • Experienced in creating and implementing short-term plans and following up goals. Ability to set and implement action plans and provide clear direction and follow up goals. Show the potential to apply tactical and operational thinking.
  • Ability to inspire and engage others.
  • Ability to reflect and find value and ideas in collaborating with others.
  • Ability to communicate fluent in English and Spanish
