Job Description

IFS Softeon is seeking a strategic, hands-on Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to lead our global financial planning function and serve as a key advisor to senior leadership. This role is responsible for driving budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and business performance insights that support the company's growth strategy.

The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of financial expertise, business partnership, and leadership experience, with a proven ability to transform complex data into actionable recommendations. This is a high-impact role offering direct exposure to executive leadership and the opportunity to help shape the future of a growing technology organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis:

  • Lead the Group’s budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
  • Build and maintain robust financial models to evaluate business performance, scenario planning, and investment decisions.
  • Deliver clear insights on revenue growth, profitability, cash flow, and other key metrics.
  • Partner with business unit leaders to align financial plans with operational strategy.

Strategic Finance & Business Partnering:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to the CFO and senior leadership team.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic initiatives, and capital allocation decisions.
  • Support board and investor reporting with high-quality analysis and presentations.
  • Translate financial data into actionable recommendations for commercial teams.

Tools, Systems & Process Excellence:

  • Drive the implementation and optimization of world-class FP&A tools and reporting systems.
  • Improve financial reporting processes to increase speed, accuracy, and scalability.
  • Champion the use of automation and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) for enhanced decision-making.

Leadership & Team Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing FP&A function.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, excellence, and collaboration across finance.
  • Partner with global finance and accounting teams to ensure consistency and alignment.

 

Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Degree in Finance, Economics, or related discipline
  • Senior FP&A/strategic finance roles in SaaS or related fields.
  • Broad professional experience in finance, including leadership roles within FP&A.
  • Proven track record implementing and scaling best-in-class FP&A software solutions.
  • Experience in a global, fast-paced, technology-driven or SaaS environment is highly desirable.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to bridge finance and business operations.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
