Job Description
The MWM Delivery Solution Leader is a pivotal role within the IFS Delivery organization, accountable for implementing strategies, shaping standardization, and ensuring a consistent delivery experience. This role is central to fostering best practices, providing guidance, acting as a feedback channel to R&D, advocating quality assurance standards, and supporting the development of service offerings.
Essential Duties
- Implementation Strategies: Provide informed direction on implementation strategies for the MWM product with adherence and alignment to broader cross practice implementation methodologies.
- Standardization: Shape the standardization and refinement of solutions and methodologies to ensure a smooth, repeatable, and consistent delivery.
- Best Practices: Foster the consistent adoption of best practices and provide solution guidance.
- Quality Assurance: Advocate quality assurance standards for Global Delivery.
- Service Offerings: promote the development of service offerings and evergreen solutions that provide lasting business value for customers.
- Collaboration: Facilitate communication and cross-functional partnership with key internal stakeholders. With particular focus to working with R&D team, Consulting Line Managers and the Training Leader within the practice to facilitate knowledge transfer and development.
- Expert Guidance: Provide knowledgeable guidance on solution strategies and identify training needs on best practices, new solutions, and emerging methodologies.
- Delivery Best Practices: Facilitate practice implementation, provide expert services, and maintain handbooks.
- Accelerator Design: Engage with the Experience Design/Quality team to provide content to the ScopeTool, Global Estimator, and other Industry Accelerators, and Success offerings that may be helpful.
- Compliance: Review success offering final report compliance and advise on compliance with IFS-Implementation Methodology/Tailoring Guide.
- Periodic engagement with customer and consulting delivery stakeholders to validate the deployment activities are positioned for a successful outcome. Leverage industry expertise to help avoid or deal with escalations
Key Assumptions and Accountabilities:
- Clear Organizational Goals: Operate within a framework of clear and well-defined organizational goals and strategies.
- Practice Priorities: Have a clear set of priorities established within the practice SLT.
- Collaborative Culture: Work within a culture that values collaboration, communication, and cross-functional teamwork.
- Success Portfolio Alignment: Assist Success Portfolio team with the definition of new success offerings for the MWM solution. Align with Training Leads and Line Managers to enable GCD to deliver success offering effectively.
- Project Best Practice: Follow recommended best practices and convey improvements to the Solution Leader.
- Product Management: Establish a strategic advisory relationship with product management and Technology teams including Cloud Operations and R&D.
- Business Development: Support the Sales effort to promote our solutions and services and assist the Bid Leader in scoping and estimation of engagements as necessary
- Quality Management: Work with the Quality team to create new and or optimize tools and processes.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of extensive business acumen and experience within the Energy Utilities and Resources industry
- Knowledgeable in industry/product alignment and continuous improvement processes.
- Strong understanding of complex enterprise software implementation strategies and methodologies within the Energy Utilities and Resources industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent collaboration and persuasive skills to help drive our solutions and services to fulfill business value for customers.
- Ability to foster best practices and advocate quality assurance standards.
- Has worked with developing service offerings and evergreen solutions.
Additional Information
- The role involves regular alignment with the Practice Vice President, challenging project scopes, documenting and mitigating solution risks, and identifying demands for new services.
- Periodic travel to customer, prospect or conference and user advisory board meeting locations will be required for this role
