Job Description
IDIQ is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Web Analyst with a strong background in leveraging web data to inform business decisions. The ideal candidate will have 5 or more years of direct experience working with tools such as Heap, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Mixpanel, or Amplitude, and a proven track record of using web data to optimize the customer experience and business outcomes. The primary focus of this role will be on analyzing user behavior and journeys, product performance, and other website metrics along with customer data to support the strategic goals of our organization. We are looking for someone that consistently delivers impactful and quality results, is detail-oriented, proactive, and a quick learner.
Duties may include but are not limited to the following:
- Web Analytics: Manage and oversee web analytics implementation across the organization. Monitor and report on metrics such as website traffic, conversion rates, user engagement and behavior. Use web analytics tools, along with customer data, to identify trends and areas for optimization.
- Data Collection and Tagging: Oversee the implementation and management of data tagging strategies using tools like Google Tag Manager or Ensighten. Ensure accurate tracking and data collection across digital platforms and troubleshoot data discrepancies when needed.
- A/B Testing: Design: Participate in ideation, design, execution, and analysis of A/B tests to optimize website elements and improve user experience and conversion rates.
- Data Management and Analysis: Extract, clean, and analyze large datasets using tools like SQL and BigQuery. Develop custom reports and dashboards in Looker Studio to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and marketers, to ensure data alignment and support strategic initiatives.
- Performs other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in a web analytics role
- Expertise in web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Heap, Adobe Analytics)
- Working knowledge of tag management tools, such as Google Tag Manager
- Extensive experience with data visualization tools such as Looker Studio, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Proficiency in A/B testing tools and methodologies
- Experience with VWO, Optimizely, or similar testing platforms.
- Experience with SQL for querying and analyzing large datasets
- Skills
- Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving data anomalies or inconsistencies.
- Ability to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex analytical insights into clear, relatable terms.
- Core Competencies: Self-driven, collaborative, organized, and results-oriented
- Nice to have:
- Experience with JavaScript, HTML, or other programming languages
- Agency experience or experience managing analytics programs across multiple products simultaneously
- Familiarity with predictive modeling and lifetime value (LTV) analysis
- Experience working with a subscription-based business model and metrics such as retention, churn, and recurring revenue
- Proficiency using Jira for project management

Additional Information
Position Details: This is a full-time position, salaried, exempt (40+ hours/week).
Pay: The pay range for this position is a minimum of $95,000 to a maximum of $125,000 annually. The actual compensation offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
