Job Description
We are looking for highly motivated technology professionals preferably with experience integrating hardware/software solutions, well versed in English language with a professional degree in Electronics, Software Systems, Mechatronics and/or Robotics, Mechanics or related. Main activities of this position are:
- Perform preventive and corrective troubleshooting & maintenance on hardware and software components on ITS Systems (ITS) such as:
- Photovoltaic power system
- Electrical control panels
- S.O.S emergency telephones
- PMS variable messaging panel
- Data collection stations
- PTZ video surveillance cameras
- Computer equipment
- CCTVs
- Network equipment
- Provide technical support to troubleshoot and resolve incidents in person or remotely depending on the situation.
- Perform onsite visits, installation, integration and deployment activities involving mechanical, electrical, electronic, software and hardware components
- Continuously acquire technical skills on technologies to keep up with technological evolution.
- Prepare technical reports on incidents, maintenance and their resolution.
- Interact with clients to explain root cause/solution
- Capture the client's needs regarding the improvements required to operate their systems, capture them in documents so that they can be explained to the engineering/software development team.
- Interact with designers, developers and other specialist to troubleshoot or design solutions for the clients.
- Supplier/Service provider coordination and supervision, to ensure quality of deliverables.
- Ability to work on customer premises
Skills:
- Understanding of communication network concepts.
- Understanding network security, firewalls, switches and routers.
- Ability to work independently, but also oriented towards teamwork.
- Oral and written communication skills.
- solving technical problems.
- Ability to learn and take on new challenges.
- Availability to travel occasionally and to work under pressure.
- Use of Microsoft office tools.
- Ability to drive automatic and manual vehicles.
- Drivers License Holder - Active Driver
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Systems Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering or related.
- Spanish/English demonstrated proficiency
- Experience preferrable
- Strong knowledge of one or more of the following fields: Electronic Design, Systems Engineering, Networking, Operating Systems, Programming, autoCAD
- Availability for continuous traveling within Mexico
- Electrical/Electronic instrumentation utilization.
