Job Description
Summary of the Role:
Project Development Manager is responsible in conducting and supporting the coordination of all the development workstream tasks from tender/project award stage to Ready-to-Build (RTB).
Responsibilities:
- Create and coordinate the outline of land acquisition steps, calculate the cost items, procure the external outsourced parties (if any), manage the progress, deliverables, paperworks, and related reports.
- Create and coordinate the outline of permitting steps, calculate the cost items, procure the external outsourced parties (if any), manage the progress, deliverables, paperworks, and related-reports.
- Develop and coordinate internal documents (ToR) related to land acquisition, permitting, and site studies
- Coordinate the communications and relationships with local stakeholders and external relevant parties related to land acquisition and permitting
- Conduct KYC and compliance check on the exteral outsource party to avoid compliance and reputation risk of the company.
- Coordinate the obtainment of information with to other teams (Engineering Team, Investment Team, Business Development Team, etc) to achieve all the conditions required for land acquisition and permitting completion
- Support the Project Integration Manager in producing reports and paperworks related to the overall project development progress (PPA, land acquisition, permitting, technical studies)
Qualifications
Qualification(s) & Requirements of This Role:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in management or engineering design
- Min 5 years of relevant industry experience in power plant development in Indonesia, with a strong understanding of land acquisition, permitting, and vendor management.
- Proficiency in developing, vetting, and managing land-acquisition and permit progress and deliverables, including timeline and cost-control
- Proficiency in calculating detailed breakdown of budget to conduct land acquisition and permit
- Proficiency in communication and relationship management with local stakeholders (land owners, government admins, and local vendors)
- Proficiency in the use of government-owned tools for land variable vetting (zones, ownership, etc) and permit applications
- Proficiency in developing and creating Terms of References (TORs) with in regards to land acquisition and permits
- Understanding in land and permit technical variables that affect engineering design and constructability
- Proficiency in English and Indonesian, both written and verbal
