Job Description

The Technical Asset Manager supports in ensuring that important milestones and tasks required for a project’s successful construction, commissioning and operation are achieved / performed and the project’s compliance with key project documents like, e.g., permits or EPC agreements. The role also involves communication and collaboration

  • Support the management of and ensure the projects’ compliance with key project documents like, e.g., permits or EPC agreements 
  • Support with technical management tasks related to, e.g., construction monitoring, inspections, claims management (e.g., insurance or warranty claims), grid connection or PPA agreements 
  • Support with administrative tasks like, e.g., invoice checking and approvals, and reporting 
  • Work with and support the SPV’s external advisors 
  • Ensure a proper handover between development and asset management teams 
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of renewable energy assets 
  • Support certain tasks such as outstanding accreditations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or a related field
  • At least 3 years experience in asset management, EPC or O&M in renewable energy
  • Experience in Microsoft Office 
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical components and system design, including losses, earthing, lightning protection, and other electrical requirements for large-scale solar power plants 
  • Strong understanding of cables, transformers, switchgear, earthing, and protection systems
  • Capability to understand As-Built documentation and communicate with onsite construction teams
  • Proficiency in English is mandatory, both written and verbal, plus at least the local language in the country of employment.
