Job Description
Position: Social Media Manager
Location: Washington DC
Duration: 2 Months
Social Media role and responsibilities are:
• Strong contributor to the development and management of social media strategies for key series and network initiatives including:
Content generation
Monitoring social buzz to increase social chatter around our series
Reporting and analysis across our social platforms
Competitive analysis
Social media industry monitoring
• Highly creative in the concepting and producing of social content including video, memes, copy lists, infographics, gifs, etc. Having on-screen experience is a plus
• Works well with guiding external agency partners to develop client’s social marketing efforts
• On-going performance tracking based on identified goals in order to identify opportunities, growth initiatives, and areas of concern
• Work closely with On-Air teams to for social integrations
Qualifications:
• BA/BS degree
• 3-7 years Marketing/Interactive experience;
• At least 2 years social experience
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects
• Highly creative
• Strong strategic thinking
• Photoshop and Adobe Premiere experience preferable
• On-camera experience is a plus
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
• TV experience is a plus
• Strong team player with relationship building skills
• Passion for marketing, social media and entertainment
