The Higher National Diploma in Business is designed to equip students with the knowledge, understanding and skills required for success in current and future employment. The course is a broad-based one and aims to provide an overview of business and the environment in which it operates. Students become familiar with some of the skills necessary for effective business operation, and undertake practical business tasks. In the core subjects, the emphasis is on the application of knowledge, skills and understanding; use of conventions in the field of study; use of analytical skills and selection and organization of information. In the specialist subjects the emphasis is on: application and evaluation of contrasting ideas, principles, theories and practices; greater specialism in the field of study; and an increasing independence in systematic enquiry and analysis.

• Prepare assignments, lesson plans, lecture materials and actively involved in developing curriculum.
• To actively be involved in staff development activities and attend meetings to discuss progress,
  set assessments, mark and assess students work, contributing to the management of learning/curriculum programs.
• Candidate should be able to type/write up curriculum according to British/American Standards.
• Candidates need to show a willingness to upgrade themselves to fit our teaching methodology.
• The responsibilities of the teacher include, planning, delivering and assessing students works, ensuring that departmental objectives and learning outcomes are met, and content is relevant and reflects current practice.
• Update and improve course documentation and guidance materials as appropriate in order to enhance the student experience and support student progression.
• Use a variety of learning and teaching methods/materials (e.g. web-based and blended learning) in order to enhance the student experience.
• Attend Faculty, Department and Program meetings/boards, as required, in order to contribute to the decision-making process and to develop productive working relationships within and across teams.
• To contribute to the day to day organization, running and administration of the School and ensure schemes of work, lesson plans files are kept up to date
• Supervising student work and providing support and feedback.
• Challenging ideas, encouraging students to develop skills in critical and rational thinking.
• Candidates must be comfortable with information technology and ready to learn to use new applications and hardware.

• Candidates must have a Bachelor and/or a Master's degree in business from a reputed university.
• Minimum 2 years of experience. (Candidates without teaching experience can also apply).
• The applicants should have experience in teaching/training.
• It is also recommended that candidates have work experience in business or industry.
• Previous teaching experience in Higher National Diploma (HND) in business and /or HND Business graduates will get preference.

Candidates must have excellent communications skills and strong command in English.
