Job Description

Reports to: Region IT Director
Location: México City
Position Objective:
To manage, plan, design and control projects, applications and tools for the regional organization to improve and support all areas achieve business and financial results, with the primary focus to support our client’s needs, as well as, oversees all applications area.
The position is fully responsible for delivering results to our clients, and/or internal operations, and do everything necessary to achieve this on time, budget and quality, bringing value to the operations.

Principal Responsibilities:
Propose new improvement ideas in all information systems development and deployment projects across LATAM, understanding the needs and priority of the Call Center operation
Innovate current applications and tools, once the area can get the understanding of the environment.
To provide project management support for all software development and deployment projects
To research, evaluate and approve the acquisition of software tools and products used by the development area and company wide
Coordinate with local operations (countries) and clients, about the implementation of solutions, software, tools and programs, in a cost-effective way
To decide which tools, languages and methodologies are used choosing from the corporate set of standards
To approve third party charges derived from outsourced software development efforts
To issue official acceptance letters for the software being purchased through outsourced development efforts when projects are completed.
To keep track of all open and ongoing IS projects to provide a timely and appropriate feedback as well as periodical progress reports to the regional management
To provide project management support for deployment of software solutions for the company’s accounts and business areas, with effective prioritization to the different accounts and business areas.
To do research on new technologies and products that are needed to support business development and improve current practices.
To be the liaison between the company’s business areas and internal or outsourced resources towards the deployment of successful information systems development efforts.
To prepare and manage a budget for software acquisition needed to accomplish the plans defined for the information systems area, considering all the aspects of the legal areas in case of specific projects.
To create project charter with requirements, logs and status of all developed projects to guarantee and ensure the right execution and upload it into SharePoint.
To coordinate and assign tasks and duties when the central server require a changes or update.
To review, update and elaborate if is necessary user manuals of the new develop projects and delivery to the end user.
To coordinate and participate in one a one meetings with the team to verify process, inconsistencies and any doubt about the projects.
To perform any other tasks, duties, or services requested by his/her immediate superior.

Qualifications

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE
Formation:
University degree in Computer Science and/or University degree in Business Administration.

Languages & Experience:
English and Spanish, excellent to native. Portuguese is a plus.
5-7 yrs. of relevant experience in Information Systems implementations, especially in IT Management positions.
Desirable knowledge in Project Management, Call Center Operations, and internal auditing process.
