The Payroll Analytics Advisor is responsible for assessing historical payroll data into actionable insights that support financial and business decision-making. This role is focused on leveraging payroll analytics to deliver agreed outcomes in payroll remediation & compliance.
The advisor works closely with HR and Finance teams to ensure data accuracy and to recommend fixes aligned with organisational priorities and strategic goals.
What you’ll be doing:
- Review historical payroll records, including paper timesheets and provide recommendation on approach to resolve identified concerns
- Analyse payroll data to identify trends, gaps, and areas for remediation.
- Prepare reports and insights to support decision-making and process improvements.
- Collaborate with Payroll, People & Partnerships, and Finance teams to ensure accurate remediation and reporting.
- Assist with documentation and audit preparation related to remediation efforts.
- Maintain confidentiality and data integrity throughout the remediation process.
- Support HR and finance departments with analytical insights.
- Maintain a high standard of data integrity and compliance.
- Develop and deliver payroll analytics reports
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to identify data requirements.
- Ensure compliance with relevant payroll legislation and policies.
- Identify trends and provide recommendations for process improvements.
- Support the development and maintenance of payroll analytics tools.
The skills and experience you’ll bring to the role:
- Demonstrated experience in payroll analytics or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- High attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Understanding of payroll compliance and data privacy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
