Job Description

The House of Commons’ Digital Services and Real Property is currently looking to staff the Product Delivery Manager position within the Digital Workplace, Products and Services Team.

This recruitment and selection process is restricted to DSRP employees.

As Product Delivery Manager reporting to the Senior Digital Product Manager, you will lead the delivery, operation, and continuous evolution of a portfolio of digital workplace and production technology products that support collaboration, workplace modernization, and the Parliamentary Precinct’s digital built environment. Leading a multidisciplinary team, you will translate product strategy into actionable delivery plans, manage product roadmaps, and ensure solutions provide measurable value to clients and the organization. Working closely with business stakeholders, clients, vendors, and technical teams, you will balance business priorities, operational requirements, and technology opportunities while ensuring products and services remain reliable, secure, and aligned with organizational objectives.

Success in this role requires strong collaboration and relationship management skills to align priorities, manage dependencies, resolve issues, and support informed decision-making across Digital Services, Real Property, Parliamentary Service Areas, Partners and external vendors. You will contribute to business planning, product governance, and modernization initiatives, foster operational excellence and an exceptional client experience, and lead the growth and success of your direct reports. The portfolio includes workplace collaboration and meeting technologies, workplace experience solutions, CAD and BIM platforms, digital twin and reality capture technologies, and digital built-environment data services that support both daily parliamentary operations and major modernization projects across the Parliamentary Precinct.

Qualifications

Education :

  • Graduation from a college or technical institute in information technology or a related field OR an acceptable combination of education, training, and relevant experience.

Experience :

  • Experience leading and managing multidisciplinary technical teams, including performance management, coaching, and employee development, while delivering digital products across the full lifecycle;
  • Experience managing the delivery, operation, and continuous improvement of digital products or technology-enabled services;
  • Demonstrated leadership in workplace collaboration technologies, production technologies, enterprise applications, or a related technology domains;
  • Experience collaborating with technical and business stakeholders across multiple disciplines and organizational levels;
  • Knowledge in project and program management, specifically planning projects, breaking down large work items into value-adding iterations and milestones, estimating work, capacity planning, resource and risk management ;
  • Experience providing technical and delivery-oriented recommendations to clients, management, and stakeholders;
  • Experience managing vendor and service provider relationships;
  • Experience identifying operational efficiencies, service improvements, and opportunities for technology modernization;
  • Experience with various development methodologies such as waterfall, scrum and Kanban, including use of modern tooling to support development and operations.
