Job Description
As an Online Merchandiser at ARKET, you will play a key role in shaping and elevating our online customer experience while driving commercial growth. Sitting at the intersection of data, product and customer behaviour, you will translate insights into inspiring, high-performing online journeys.
With a strong commercial mindset and a passion for product, you will ensure our assortment is presented in a way that feels both relevant and aspirational – strengthening ARKET’s digital presence and supporting our continued growth. This role also includes a visual dimension, where you contribute to creating engaging and on-brand online destinations.
What you will do:
- Analyse sales, web and search data to understand customer behaviour and act on insights
- Drive commercial performance by setting goals and creating strong online content, including newsletters
- Plan and execute selling strategies across channels in a cost-efficient way
- Create and maintain engaging and up-to-date product presentations and online store destinations
- Ensure the right product assortment is visible in the right context with clear and compelling content
- Update department pages and categories based on sales performance and campaign focus
- Collaborate cross-functionally to drive sales together with teams across e-commerce, buying, brand, logistics and customer service
- Continuously improve merchandising ways of working using best practices
Who you’ll work with:
You will be part of the online merchandising team and work closely with E-commerce, Buying, Planning, Brand & Communication, and Content teams. You will also collaborate broadly across the organisation to support commercial goals and enhance the customer experience.
Qualifications
- Several years' experience within merchandising
- You must have strong commercial planning understanding customer behaviour and demand, with the ability to identify selling opportunities and risks and translate them into actions
- Proven experience managing stock and inventory throughout the product lifecycle, including stock optimisation
- Experience with stock management in and post season and ability to fulfill reduction strategy
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and make commercially driven decisions
- Knowledge of key merchandising KPIs, including sales, stock turn, sell-through, availability and profitability
- Experience using digital tools, analytics platforms and advanced Excel skills to support commercial decision-making
- Experience within e-commerce, online trading or digital merchandising environments
- An understanding of online visual merchandising, including product presentation, category management and site optimisation to enhance the customer experience and drive conversion
- Professional level English, both written and spoken

This is a full time temporary contract based at our Head Office in Stockholm, Södermalm

We value collaboration and believe that great ideas thrive when we work closely together. Therefore, this role is primarily office-based, with four days per week at the office to foster teamwork and engagement. One day per week, you’ll have the flexibility to work remotely.
