Long term work expected
Project Engineers must demonstrate experience with the following: reviewing submittals, contractor questions, RFIs/RFCs, construction schedules, contract deficiencies, construction deficiencies, project issues, requests for equitable adjustment, and claims; make written recommendations to the COR; compute time extensions; assist in preparing documents for change orders and claims; make technical interpretations of drawings and specifications; provide engineering determinations on meeting the contract requirements; make practicability determinations from a construction standpoint; and utilize Resident Management System (RMS).
Qualifications
· 10+ years’ experience on large scale DoD construction projects
· Proficient with Resident Management System (RMS) software and MS Office
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Strong organization and time management skills
· US Citizenship required by federal contract
