We are expanding and have a great opportunity for low voltage designer. Develop designs for distribution systems, write specifications and perform calculations to support designs.  Produce and update layouts and drawings related to various low voltage systems: Nurse Call, Security/Access Control, Fire Alarm, Telecom and Datacom. Provide input to the A/E team in regard to low voltage requirements and submittals. Conduct field QC/QA system reviews.

·         3-4 years’ exp designing a variety of low voltage systems for medium to large scale projects

·         NICET, RCDD, APS, FAL or similar certification required

·         Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred

·         Knowledge of applicable codes and standards

·         Proficient in Revit and/or AutoCAD; create and modify

·         Ability to read construction documents and specifications

·         Experience with federal and/or healthcare projects a plus

·         Ability to work independently and meet deadlines 

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills
