We are growing we need you on the A/E team! Take responsibility for the design of facilities-related electrical distribution and low voltage systems.  Tasks include: 

·         Design of branch circuit distribution systems for power and lighting in facilities 

·         Design of overall power distribution systems and various low voltage systems 

·         Design of grounding and lighting protection systems

·         Write specifications

·         Perform accurate calculations to support system designs 

·         Attend design and/or construction meetings as required 

·         Perform construction site visits as required 

·         Conduct field QA/QC and system deficiency reviews

·         Develop meeting minutes and/or site observation reports 

·         Interact with the design team from inception to completion on a project-specific basis

·         BS degree in Electrical Engineering 

·         Professional Engineer (PE) certification required

·         5+ years recent experience in Electrical Engineering design for building construction projects including low voltage systems

·         Electrical systems installation experience preferred but not required

·         LEED and/or medical facility experience a plus 

·         Working knowledge of Revit and/or AutoCAD desired

·         Knowledge of applicable codes and standards

·         Experience with federal and/or healthcare projects a plus

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·         Proficient knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook)
