Job Description

Provide medical transportation support to assist with contract management assistance in the facilities department at Naval Medical Center, San Diego, CA. Duties include maintaining vehicle inventory list including cars, trucks, golf carts, ATVs etc., department assignments, usage reports and maintenance reports. Receive vehicle requests via telephone, writing, and/or electronic means; prioritizes urgency of requests; and assign vehicles based upon NMCSD instruction and standard operation procedures. Issue, received and inspect vehicles and equipment under the responsibility of the Transportation Division.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United Sates on a full-time basis; HFS Company does not sponsor individuals for employment visas.

Qualifications

3+ years experience is a similar administrative support position. Fleet experience a plus.

Valid drivers license and clear driving record.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), Microsoft SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat.

Ability to read, speak and write the English language

Ability to maintain confidentiality and behave ethically within a medical environment.

Excellent communications and customer service skills including telephone etiquette. 

Ability to interpret and apply reference material such as regulations, manuals, catalogs, records, orders, etc. to accomplish and resolve problems.

Ability to use standard office equipment such as computers, copiers, fax machines, telephone systems and office automation systems including optical readers and scanners.
