Role Overview: As a Food Service Assistant, you play a vital role in ensuring the nutritional needs and satisfaction of our patients, employees, and visitors. Your work directly supports the health and well-being of our community by providing timely, accurate, and courteous meal service. What You Will Do: - Prepare and serve meals to patients, employees, and visitors with accuracy and care. - Perform cashier duties, ensuring efficient and friendly customer service. - Assist in diet office tasks, supporting dietary needs and meal planning. - Manage inventory and supplies to maintain operational readiness. - Handle dish room duties, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation standards are met. - Complete other assigned tasks to support the food service team.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, GED, or six (6) months to one (1) year of previous work experience in a food service or cash handling setting.
• Ability to read, write, speak English, and follow oral and written instructions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Personal computer and data entry skills.
