What You Will Do

• Safeguard patient and staff safety by adhering to radiation safety protocols, monitoring for treatment-related side effects, and implementing evidence-based interventions to manage symptoms and enhance patient comfort throughout their oncology journey.
• Provide specialized oncology support by delivering compassionate psychosocial care, addressing the unique emotional and physical needs of cancer patients, and connecting them with resources to support their overall well-being.
• Collaborate with the oncology team by working seamlessly with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and other specialists to ensure coordinated, comprehensive treatment planning and delivery.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and quality documentation by maintaining accurate medical records, following institutional policies and regulatory standards, and contributing to quality assurance initiatives that elevate our standard of care.

What You Will Need

Required Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
• Health care provider certification (BCLS).

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
