We’re all patients, right? So, it’s easy to get behind a mission that seeks to improve the healthcare experience for all Australians.

The Gig

Reporting into our Chief Marketing Officer, the Product Marketing Manager is the strategic bridge between Marketing, Product, Customer, and Industry. This role is accountable for how our products are positioned and win in the market.

The role develops deep expertise in our customers, industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape, and brings that insight into the business. Using these insights to inform product strategy, pricing, and packaging, as a key partner to Product, and is responsible for defining how each product and feature is positioned and adopted in the market.

The Product Marketing Manager sets the direction for target audiences, positioning, messaging frameworks, and headline narratives across the portfolio, while guiding the execution through clear messaging and review of channel communications for quality and consistency.

The role maintains a dotted-line connection into Product to stay aligned to the roadmap and to sustain a strong feedback loop between customer needs, industry shifts, product priorities, and market positioning.

Responsibilities:

  • Voice of Customer & Market Insight

    • Develop deep expertise in our customers, industries and competitive landscape, bringing market insight into Product and go-to-market (GTM) decisions.

    • Understand the end-to-end customer journey  and identify opportunities to improve product positioning, education and enablement at key moments

    • Own competitive and market intelligence, tracking alternatives and translating insights into sharper product and GTM strategy.

    • Inform product pricing in partnership with Product, Finance and Customer

    • Bring customer, market, competitive and GTM insight into roadmap planning and product prioritisation, partnering closely with Product Managers

    • Partner with Product on beta programs, gathering structured market feedback and identifying proof points, testimonials and launch insights

  • Positioning & Messaging

    • Partner with Product to translate GTM briefs and technical product information into clear, compelling narratives that resonate with practices.

    • Own product positioning, target audience, messaging frameworks and headline messaging for our products and features.

    • Set messaging direction for the wider Marketing team and review channel communications and assets for on-message, on-brand quality.

    • Maintain messaging, value propositions, and proof points as the single source of truth, including customer testimonials and case studies.

  • Product Launches & Go-to-Market

    • Own the GTM strategy and launch narrative for new products and features, from product handoff to in-market activation.

    • Define launch tiers, audiences, messaging, channels, and success measures, directing and reviewing the execution Sequence launch activity and align cross-functional owners around timelines, dependencies and deliverables.

    • Ensure every launch has a clear demand and adoption objective with quantifiable targets.

  • Enablement & Training

    • Build and deliver training programs and assets that enable Sales, Customer Success, and Support to confidently sell and support new products and features.

    • Ensure Customer and Marketing teams are market-ready ahead of launches, with the messaging, objection handling, battlecards, and proof points they need.

    • Run feedback loops with Sales, Customer Success and Support to continuously sharpen messaging, enablement and lead quality.

  • Partnership & Influence

    • Sit embedded between Product, Customer and Marketing, and demonstrate influence across Product, Marketing, Finance, Rev Ops, Sales and Customer without direct authority.

    • Guide Marketing Specialists and Designers on messaging and quality, and partner with key stakeholders to translate product positioning into inbound demand and MQL volume and quality.

    • Partner with our Marketing Operations & Project Lead on attribution and reporting, while building agentic skills and agent to increase velocity and efficiency of GTM and Product Marketing activity

About You

You're the kind of person who takes accountability in a fast-paced, autonomous and flexible environment. Fast may be your default (like us!) but you never, ever compromise on what’s important, willing to take a steady, more informed approach when it comes to maintaining the trust of our team and customers. You handle change like a pro, and continuous improvement is a way of life. You are not afraid to speak up and share your thoughts respectfully, with the intention of making positive change. You take initiative and drive your own learning journey without waiting for someone to point you in the right direction. And ultimately, you care: about people, health and innovation.

Experience you’ll bring:

  • 5+ years in product marketing spanning market and product strategy (customer insight, product and pricing) through to go-to-market (positioning, launches, enablement), in B2B SaaS. Experience in the HealthTech industry will be looked on favourably.

  • Experience developing product and pricing strategies.

  • Proven track record translating product and technical information into positioning, a messaging framework, and headline messaging. Writing samples to be provided during application.

  • Demonstrated experience owning product launches / go-to-market end-to-end in a SaaS environment.

  • Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functionally without direct authority, working closely embedded with Product.

  • Experience building sales training and enablement programs, not just sales assets.

  • Commercially minded, understands pricing, demand generation, the funnel and pipeline (Lead>MQL>SAL), and product adoption.

  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business, or a related field; postgraduate qualification advantageous.

  • Experience in healthcare, regulated industries, or marketplaces is advantageous, not required.
