Job Description

He aha te tūranga - About the role: 

You will have an important responsibility to continually assess and mitigate health-related event risk at pre-planned events, as well as provide event medical cover.

  • Provide effective patient care, ensuring patients are appropriately assessed and managed in line with the relevant Authority to Practice and Comprehensive Clinical Guidelines
  • Proactively identify risks/hazards whilst attending an event, and either acting on findings or escalating as appropriate to event organisers
  • Develop and maintain an effective relationship with event organisers, officials, and participants

Please note: This role covers Auckland and Northland, some travel may be required

Qualifications

Ko wai koe - About you:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A current New Zealand Authority to Practice, minimum of EMT ATP required.
  • Hold a current and clean NZ drivers licence
  • Physically fit and able to ensure excellent self-care
  • Ability to work weekends
