Part-Time Veterinary Nurse – Greencross Vets Helensvale Square

Greencross Vets Helensvale Square is seeking a passionate and experienced Veterinary Nurse to join our well-established, supportive clinic on a part-time basis (1–2 days per week), with the opportunity to pick up additional shifts.

You’ll be working alongside two veterinarians and three experienced nurses in a collaborative environment where teamwork, communication, and mutual support are key.

About the Role

This is a hands-on role where you’ll be involved across all aspects of nursing and patient care.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting daily clinic workflow and client experience
• Assisting with consultations and surgical procedures
• Monitoring anaesthesia and patient recovery
• Taking and processing radiographs
• Performing dental prophylaxis
• Administering medications and maintaining clinical standards
• Working collaboratively within a close-knit team

About You

We are looking for someone who brings:

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent)
• Minimum 2+ years’ clinical experience
• Strong understanding of veterinary nursing procedures
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work both independently and within a team
• Experience with catheter placement, blood collection, TPR and triage
• Confident anaesthetic monitoring skills
• Experience with RX Works (highly desirable)
