Grand Food is a wholesale food distributor providing business to business deliveries and food solutions to some of the best restaurants, markets, and institutions throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.  We specialize in custom processed meats, poultry and seafood, packaging solutions, and speedy, same-day delivery service.  

Provide labor, material and organizational support for main production team. prepare all consumables, packaging, and equipment for the next day's shift so that the next shift does not have prodcution hiccups. do everything necessary to ensure all production personnel can achieve best time to first cut and volume expectations for the day.  This position starts at 9AM and lasts ends at 6PM.

Duties:

1. Produce at least enough boxes per the next day's production list

• includes Peelling resued boxes
• stapling new ones 
  2. Prepare individual bins of consumables (gloves,aprons,knives,straps,blades, sharpeners, etc) ready for next day's production according to production plan.
  3. Prepare production team materials according to production plan ( bins, totes, shelves, material handling equipment, strappers, films, etc,)
  4. organizing production materials
  5. Assist with production to warehouse shipping and receiving including case count, labelling, palletization,strapping, and computer inut.
  6. Inspect any line equipment is in good repair and report andy that are not for mainenance fix.
  7.Pre-Print labels of products to be made for the following day.
  8. Inventory with Warehouse team and perform Production reveiving during high-colume production days
  10. Perform production strapping and packaging during high-volume production days
  11. Assist with morning shift production where required including ) cutting, slicing, packing,unpacking,where requiered.
  12. Communication and team work 
  13. shut down wash down- helping the pm close down process run smoothly (turn off machinery, disasemble, hose down, sanitize)

• computer knowledge
•  forklift licence or willing to get training
• pallet jack & electric jack- willing to learn
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish , English/mandarin
• multi-task well organized
