Job Description

About the Team

Strategy and Planning is part of Territory Operations that serves as a critical partner, connecting country and functional priorities with city-level execution. The team steers Mobility performance across its operating markets, with responsibility for P&L, demand growth, supply reliability, and competitive intelligence.

Get to Know the Role

Reporting to the Strategy and Planning Manager, you will support GrabBike's growth across a portfolio of cities in Sumatra, Java, Bali, and Nusa Tenggara. You will translate business priorities into territory plans, diagnose performance gaps, identify growth opportunities, and equip city teams with recommendations they can act on.

This role is based onsite in Jakarta and requires regular travel for market visits and leadership forums.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

  • Analyze demand, supply, operational, and competitive data to explain city-level performance and recommend actions to close gaps or capture growth opportunities.
  • Monitor GrabBike metrics across the territory, investigate anomalies, and escalate risks to leadership with proposed solutions.
  • Build and maintain reports, automated data pipelines, and interactive dashboards (e.g., PowerBI, in-house tools) that city and territory teams use to track performance.
  • Coordinate cross-functional initiatives between city operations, marketing, marketplace, and demand teams — setting clear owners, timelines, and targets so plans are executed as agreed.
  • Prepare performance reports and presentations for monthly territory reviews and leadership forums.
  • Conduct market visits to observe local conditions and gather insights from passengers, driver-partners, and city teams, then feed these findings back into territory plans.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in strategy, business analytics, management consulting, or a Tech environment, with demonstrated exposure to both strategic planning and operational execution
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
  • Experience gathering and turn complex data into clear, relevant business recommendations
  • Proficiency in SQL and data analysis tools; comfort with Python and data visualization platforms is an added value
  • Experience leading projects involving diverse teams around shared goals
  • Experience working with minimum guidance and balancing pririorities
