Get to Know the Team

The Vietnam Central Operations team helps build a reliable and sustainable driver supply ecosystem. Working closely with driver acquisition, operations, commercial, finance, legal and product teams, we design practical partnerships that improve growth, engagement and operating performance across Vietnam.

Get to Know the Role

As Lead Commercial Partnerships, you will develop and commercialize cooperative partnerships that support sustainable four-wheel driver growth in Vietnam. You will own the day-to-day execution of the Cooperative Tiering strategy, strengthen partner engagement and translate partnership opportunities into measurable business outcomes.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

You will report directly to the Head of Central Operations, Vietnam and work in close partnership with the Acquisition Manager and cross-functional teams. This role is based in Ho Chi Minh City and follows Grab's local working arrangement. It offers the opportunity to shape a new commercial capability and grow into broader strategic partnership ownership.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

  • You will have 5 or more years of experience in commercial partnerships, business development, sales, account management or a related field, with evidence of delivering partner or business outcomes.
  • You will have practical experience in commercial negotiation, proposal development and partnership lifecycle management, from opportunity assessment through execution and review.
  • You will be able to translate ambiguous business opportunities into structured plans, measurable targets across multiple teams.
  • You will use data and financial reasoning to evaluate opportunities, monitor performance and make commercially sound recommendations.
  • You will be engaging senior external partners and internal stakeholders, with strong written and verbal communication in Vietnamese and English.
  • You will be comfortable operating independently, prioritizing competing workstreams and solving problems.
  • You have experience engaging with AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance productivity, improve workflows and contribute new ideas.Good to Have
    • Experience working with cooperatives, fleet operators, transport associations or other partner-based mobility ecosystems.
    • Experience in driver acquisition, marketplace operations, mobility, logistics or platform businesses.
    • Experience designing partner segmentation, tiering, loyalty or incentive programs.
    • Experience working across Vietnam's major cities and understanding local mobility or workforce dynamics.
