The Philippines is one of Grab's fastest-growing advertising markets. We are looking for a senior commercial leader to accelerate the next phase of growth by expanding our non-endemic advertising business, strengthening agency partnerships, and building a high-performing commercial organization that positions Grab as the country's leading commerce media platform.
Get to Know the Role
As the Manager, Agency & Country Partnerships, you will lead GrabAds' agency and non-endemic advertising business in the Philippines, with accountability for driving advertising revenue growth from brands, agencies and strategic ecosystem partnerships.
Reporting to the Country Commercial Leadership Team, you will lead the Agency Partnerships, Non-Endemic Client Partnerships and Ad Operations teams, setting the commercial strategy, building executive relationships with agencies and advertisers, and ensuring operational excellence across the advertising business. You will be responsible for growing Grab's share of advertising spend through strategic partnerships with agency holding groups, independent agencies and leading non-endemic advertisers, while working closely with Regional GrabAds, Product, Marketing and Commercial teams to bring innovative commerce media solutions to market.
This role is suited for an experienced media and marketing practitioner who combines strong commercial leadership with deep expertise in digital advertising, agency partnerships and enterprise sales. Success will be measured through sustained revenue growth, strategic client partnerships, operational excellence and the development of a high-performing organization.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- You will define and execute the country strategy to accelerate non-endemic advertising revenue growth through agency and strategic client partnerships.
- You will lead and develop high-performing Agency Partnerships, Non-Endemic Client Partnerships and Ad Operations teams, fostering a culture of commercial excellence, customer obsession and collaboration.
- You will own the country's non-endemic advertising revenue, pipeline health, sales forecasting and commercial operating rhythm to consistently achieve business targets.
- You will build and strengthen executive relationships with senior marketing leaders, media agencies, agency holding groups and key decision-makers, positioning Grab as a strategic media and commerce partner.
- You will identify new revenue opportunities by expanding advertiser penetration, unlocking new industry verticals and developing strategic partnerships with agencies and advertisers.
- You will work closely with Regional GrabAds, Product and Marketing teams to shape commercial priorities, localize regional initiatives and influence product innovation based on customer needs.
- You will partner with cross-functional teams across Grab to develop integrated advertising solutions that leverage Grab's unique ecosystem, first-party data and omnichannel capabilities.
- You will oversee Ad Operations to ensure campaign excellence, operational efficiency, service quality and an exceptional client experience from campaign onboarding through delivery and reporting.
- You will establish best-in-class commercial disciplines across pipeline management, forecasting, CRM adoption, account planning and sales enablement.
- You will represent GrabAds externally through industry engagements, executive meetings and strategic partnerships, strengthening Grab's leadership within the Philippine media and advertising ecosystem.
Qualifications
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- You have Heart, Humility, Hunger and Honour.
- You have 10–15 years of experience in digital media, advertising, media agencies, ad technology or marketing, with significant experience leading commercial teams.
- You have a proven track record of driving enterprise advertising revenue and consistently delivering against ambitious commercial targets.
- You have deep knowledge of the Philippine digital advertising ecosystem, including advertisers, media agencies, agency holding groups and commerce media.
- You have extensive experience building and managing executive relationships with CMOs, marketing leaders, agency executives and senior client stakeholders.
- You have demonstrated success leading sales, partnership and account management teams, developing talent and building high-performing organizations.
- You have strong commercial acumen with experience in sales strategy, pipeline management, forecasting and business planning.
- You have experience collaborating across highly matrixed organizations and influencing regional and cross-functional stakeholders.
- You possess exceptional communication, negotiation and executive presentation skills, with the ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders.
- You have strong experience with CRM platforms, sales enablement tools and commercial performance management.
- Experience in commerce media, retail media networks, digital publishers, advertising platforms or leading media agencies will be highly advantageous.
