Our Values: Innovation, Integrity, and FUN

Job Description

As a senior member of our engineering team, you will lead complex projects from proposal to close-out while partnering closely with clients and internal teams to deliver work you’re proud to sign and seal. You are a licensed Professional Engineer with 8+ years of experience who has developed deep technical expertise along with the judgment to guide projects, protect scope, and drive strong financial outcomes. You enjoy mentoring junior staff, collaborating across disciplines, and building trusted client relationships — not just producing drawings. If you’re looking for an opportunity to own the financial, technical, and operational success of complex projects while serving as Engineer of Record, let’s chat.

Your Values: Leadership, Learning, and Communication

How you’ll spend your days:

  • Leading projects from proposal through closeout — owning scope, schedule, budget, and overall performance
  • Serving as Engineer of Record, signing and sealing documents with confidence and precision
  • Creating clear proposals, scopes of work, and fee structures that set projects up for financial success
  • Protecting project margins by managing change orders, billing, collections, and minimizing write-offs
  • Leading QA/QC from start to finish to reduce RFIs and plan review comments during permitting and construction
  • Directing the day-to-day efforts of your project team while optimizing utilization and accountability
  • Building strong client relationships, managing expectations, and identifying opportunities for repeat work
  • Mentoring and developing junior engineers — elevating both their technical skills and professional judgment
  • Collaborating across disciplines to deliver high-performing, well-coordinated engineering solutions

Qualifications

What you’ll bring:

  • PE licensure and 8 - 12 years of progressive engineering experience
  • 4+ years of demonstrated success delivering projects that meet technical standards, financial targets, and schedule commitments
  • Experience managing budgets, billing, AR, and scope control — you understand the business side of engineering
  • Strong proficiency with BIM/drawing tools and engineering design and analysis software
  • A disciplined, detail-oriented approach to QA/QC and construction document production
  • The leadership presence to set expectations, coach junior staff, and hold teams accountable
  • Excellent communication and time management skills — you manage complexity without losing momentum
  • A proactive, client-centered mindset with the tenacity to navigate risk, change, and construction realities
  • A desire to keep learning, improving, and strengthening the firm around you

Additional Information

Our team members enjoy:

  • Salary $115,000 - $135,000 commensurate with your experience and project impact
  • Incredible suite of benefits
  • The opportunity to work with a respected engineering firm where leadership, performance, and professionalism matter
