Using routine monitoring of fields with drones, in-field scouting, and satellites, we’re applying our NASA-funded ML algorithms to analyze crop maturity, health, and predicted yields, helping farmers to dramatically reduce production uncertainties and increase profits. As a new member of our development team, you will be designing, maintaining, and improving our platform. Your advanced JavaScript and design skills will help us enhance the user experience and customer engagement of our platform. You have mastered collaboration with your active and consistent communication and enjoy transferring your knowledge to help the entire team. Spend your days

  • Developing and maintaining web applications utilizing JavaScript frameworks and other complementary tools
  • Collaborating with developers from multiple disciplines to implement new features
  • Making sure that your team members can follow in your footsteps by documenting your work
  • Enthusiastically sharing your knowledge across the team and throughout the organization to help everyone improve 
  • Stretching yourself intellectually – challenging conventional thinking with your positive and curious mind

What you’ll bring to the table

  • BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience developing highly dynamic enterprise-grade applications using JavaScript frameworks – VueJS or Ionic
  • Advanced level skills in HTML and CSS, and a design centered approach to your work
  • A creative, articulate, and competent communication style – you deliver your message clearly and concisely
  • You know your stuff but enjoy brainstorming with others for the best outcome 
  • You have worked in an emerging, growing company so you know what it means to shift priorities and wear many hats
  • A gift for transferring your knowledge to others so we all grow
  • Experience with D3.js and MapBox is a plus
