We are growing and looking for just the right person to add to our accounting team!  You are early in your career, but numbers and meticulous organization are already your superpowers.  Your experience as an accounting assistant or bookkeeper within a manufacturing or distribution company has given you knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting best practices, problem-solving skills and a methodical working style. What your days will be filled with

  • Assisting in all day-to-day accounting transactions including A/R, A/P and purchase orders
  • Monitoring job profitability, project budgets and costs to ensure every penny is in its place
  • Tracking expenses and assigning them to the appropriate account
  • Managing new vendor and client set up, creating purchase orders and digitizing job files
  • Pitching in wherever you can – you are committed to the development of yourself and the company

Qualifications

What you’ll show us

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of professional experience in a busy accounting department 
  • Experience working in an environment where your agility, flexibility and ability to handle multiple projects highlights your talents
  • Advanced Excel and QuickBooks skills
  • First responder DNA – whatever the situation, you respond accordingly without breaking a sweat
  • Remarkable attention to detail while remaining focused on the end game
  • Exceptional time management skills; you know how to prioritize shifting demands
  • Your judgement is unquestionable – you know what confidentiality means and you honor it ALWAYS
