Job Description

We are seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to join our team. This role is focused on providing advanced technical support, incident resolution, and execution of programmed tasks such as deployments. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in DevOps principles, coupled with deep expertise in cloud technologies, containerization, and automation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide L3 support, including incident resolution, scheduled deployments, and other operational tasks
  • Manage and maintain AWS infrastructure (IAM, S3, EC2, ECS, R53, Logs)
  • Design, implement, and manage containerized applications using Docker, ECS, and Helm
  • Administer Kubernetes clusters using Rancher and kubectl
  • Configure and manage CDNs (Akamai, Cloudfront)
  • Implement infrastructure as code solutions using Terraform
  • Manage SSL certificates across various platforms (Linux, Windows, F5)
  • Troubleshoot network issues and optimize network performance
  • Develop and implement automation scripts and procedures
  • Administer Windows servers and manage version control systems (GitHub, GitLab)

 

    Qualifications

    Required:

    • Proven experience in Linux administration
    • Strong knowledge of AWS services (IAM, S3, EC2, ECS, R53, Logs)
    • Expertise in containerization (Docker, ECS, Helm) and Kubernetes (Rancher, kubectl)
    • In-depth understanding of CDNs (Akamai, Cloudfront)
    • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
    • Strong teamwork and communication abilities
    • Proficiency in Terraform
    • Experience with SSL certificate management
    • Networking knowledge (LAN troubleshooting)
    • Automation experience
    • Windows Server administraton
    • Proficiency in version control systems (GitHub, GitLab)

    Preferred:

    • Experience with DevOps tools (Jenkins, AWX, Rundeck)
    • Proficiency in monitoring and logging tools (Splunk, AppDynamics, Cloudwatch)
    • Scripting abilities (Bash, Python)
    • Experience with ServiceNow or Salesforce
    • Chef experience (automation)
