Job Description
Are you passionate about hygiene, GMP standards, and cleanroom excellence?
Do you want to play a key role in ensuring the highest quality and safety standards in a medical manufacturing environment?
As an Expert Hygiene, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with hygiene and cleanroom standards, supporting quality, and driving continuous improvement:
- Perform independent cleanroom monitoring, including:
- Execution and documentation of required tests (e.g. particle monitoring)
- Review of environmental data (temperature, pressure, humidity)
- Coordination of external laboratory testing and evaluation of results
- Define and monitor pest control measures
- Develop and maintain the cleaning and disinfection concept
- Provide technical hygiene support to production and related departments
- Act as a key contact for customers and audits regarding hygiene topics
- Create and manage hygiene-related documentation (layouts, procedures, certificates)
- Issue and process hygiene blocking certificates
- Conduct special measurements and investigations in case of deviations
- Support complaint investigations with follow-up measurements
- Define and review hygiene-related requirements during process or cleanroom changes
- Approve and release cleanroom consumables and materials (garments, disinfectants, gloves, etc.)
Qualifications
- Degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Microbiology, Engineering, or related field
- Experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, or cleanroom manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of GMP, hygiene standards, and cleanroom regulations
- Experience with environmental monitoring and data evaluation
- Understanding of quality systems and audit requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
- Proactive, structured, and detail-oriented working style
