Job Description

Overview

 

• The Project Management Specialist is responsible for coordinating and driving the successful completion of projects from initiation through execution. 

• This role oversees all aspects of assigned projects, ensuring deadlines, responsibilities, and deliverables remain on track. 

• The position requires strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

 

• Based in Fort Mill, SC, you will play a critical role in supporting sales teams, developing RFP/RFI responses, and coordinating cross functional efforts to ensure program and customer success. 

• This position thrives in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment and requires strong prioritization skills, curiosity, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

 

What You’ll Do

 

• Lead end-to-end project planning, execution, and delivery.

• Establish timelines, assign responsibilities, and oversee progress toward key milestones.

• Monitor project performance, manage risks, and proactively remove roadblocks.

• Prepare and present clear, concise status updates and reports for senior leadership.

• Guide and support cross-functional team members; may lead and direct the work of others.

• Apply a broad range of project management practices, creativity, and problem solving to achieve program goals.

• Partner closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment on objectives, scope, and expectations.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

• Lead and coordinate execution across IA programs and initiatives.

• Drive operational efficiency and champion process improvements.

• Collaborate with sales teams to support deal strategy, pricing, and execution.

• Develop, manage, and submit high quality RFPs/RFIs aligned with customer requirements and business objectives.

• Track program milestones, risks, metrics, and deliverables to ensure predictable outcomes.

• Build strong partnerships with cross-functional teams to promote alignment and program success.

 

Qualifications

 

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

• 2–4 years of experience in project management or a related field.

• Familiarity with project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Creativity, initiative, and a high degree of latitude in achieving goals.

1. Walk me through your experience developing or managing RFP/RFI responses. What steps did you take to ensure alignment with customer needs and business goals?

2. Tell me about a time you identified an opportunity for process improvement within a project or program. What changes did you make, and what impact did they have?

3. Give an example of a project where you had to manage shifting priorities or emerging risks. How did you track progress and ensure the project stayed on course?
