Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Project Management Officer (PMO) to support and coordinate Data Governance and Data Management initiatives within a complex international environment.

The successful candidate will act as the central coordination point between business stakeholders, data teams, and project leadership, ensuring alignment, transparency, and timely delivery across multiple workstreams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee Data Governance and Data Management project activities across multiple teams and stakeholders
  • Drive project planning, milestone tracking, risk management, and dependency management
  • Facilitate workshops, steering committees, and stakeholder meetings to ensure alignment on priorities and objectives
  • Act as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders, project teams, and leadership
  • Ensure effective communication between technical and business teams
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular status reporting, including risks, issues, and mitigation plans
  • Support resource planning and workload coordination across project streams
  • Track action items, decisions, and deliverables to ensure successful project execution
  • Promote adherence to governance frameworks, project standards, and delivery methodologies
  • Support change management and stakeholder engagement activities throughout the project lifecycle

Qualifications

Key Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in Project Management, PMO, Program Management, or Project Coordination roles

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

  • Strong understanding of Data Governance, Data Management, Data Quality, and Data Lifecycle concepts
  • Ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams in complex enterprise environments
  • Strong organizational, planning, and reporting capabilities
  • Experience facilitating workshops, steering committees, and executive-level meetings
  • Familiarity with data-related projects, including data governance, master data, data quality, or data architecture initiatives
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches)
  • Fluency in German and English is mandatory
