Folks Mumbai is seeking talented Modeling Artists to join our creative team across all levels!

From the very beginning, we have been passionate about capturing the imagination. Based in Montréal, Toronto, Bogotá, Saguenay, and now in  Mumbai,  the artists who bring their rich and diverse experiences to our team have been making larger-than-life visual effects for film and television for the past 10 years.

Responsibilities:

• Create and deliver models that meet each creative and technical brief.
• Create UVs for all your assets that meet the standard of the Look Development department.
• Work independently with other departments such as Rigging, Look Development, and others as required.
• Re-topologies lidar scans and or hi-res models.
• Work from concept artwork or photographic images.
• Present your work for internal reviews after ensuring it hits creative and technical notes.
• Promote a collaborative and enjoyable workplace, influencing morale, fostering purposeful discussion, and a positive work ethic.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 3-5 years of professional experience in model asset creation.
• Expert user of production-ready software, including Maya, Z-Brush UV layout, and Mari. Knowledge of how and when their use will increase the quality of your work.
• Look Development experience is strongly desired.
• Houdini's procedural modeling knowledge is a plus.
• An artistic background in drawing, painting, etc., is a plus.
• Real-world understanding of proportion, depth, scale, and physical space.
• Expert organizational skills.
• Maintain a calm and professional demeanor in a deadline-focused work environment.
