We're looking for passionate web developers for our Block team. We are a thriving group, building high-profile web applications. Your role would play an essential part in how Block connects to and educates our merchants, and their customers.

The Role:

You will...

• Work on building our eCommerce ordering platform, in partnership with our fulfillment, logistics, sales, and marketing teams, to get Block hardware into the hands of our merchants.
• Write concise, high-quality, and testable code
• Build beautiful user interfaces that deliver industry-leading user experience.
• Get mentoring, help, and provide constructive pull-request reviews (peer reviews).
• Get a balanced, supportive, fun work environment as we help to build your career path.

• 2+ years of solid, practical, and ideally high-profile experience. 
• You work well in collaborative environments
• A passion for web application development and online systems.
• You are very comfortable in at least one object-oriented language, and associated web framework. Don't worry about which one—we'll train you in Ruby (and Rails).

Salary Range: [ $82k  -  $120k ]
