The Retail Sales Support Analyst is a field-based role designed to directly support and elevate the performance of the Retail Sales Team. By working closely with RM’s, RSR’s, and customer stakeholders in the field, this role ensures deep alignment with frontline sales activities, customer interactions, and operational realities. Reporting to the Director of Retail Sales, the Support Analyst serves as a strategic partner to both the field and leadership teams. They manage operational workflows, CRM data, and reporting tools, while also acting as a central point of contact to ensure seamless communication across departments. The role supports key sales initiatives including onboarding, RVP walks, and retail program execution, and plays a pivotal role in anchoring leadership market walks to drive visibility and alignment across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Field Engagement: Spend time in the field with RM’s, RSRs, and customer stakeholders to observe workflows, identify pain points, and develop tools and methods that improve sales team efficiency and effectiveness.
- CRM & Workflow Management: Oversee and execute Retail HubSpot processes and workflow including customer data management, project ticket tracking, dashboard creation, and reporting to ensure the sales team has access to critical store level insights.
- Sales Reporting & Analytics: Develop and distribute key performance indicator (KPI) reports, project pipelines, and opportunity tracking to support strategic decision-making and drive incremental sales.
- RVP Walk Coordination: Serve as the anchor and host for RVP and Market Walks, including agenda creation, data preparation, scheduling, logistics planning, and on-site coordination. These walks are vital for leadership visibility and field alignment.
- Onboarding & Documentation: Create and maintain onboarding materials and documentation to support new RSRs and ensure consistent training and integration into retail and our products.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement tools and processes that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Retail Sales Team.
- Sales Support: Respond to sales inquiries related to reporting, program details, and product information, ensuring timely and accurate support.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a liaison between the sales team and other departments to foster strong working relationships and facilitate smooth information flow.
- Product & Technical Information Management: Coordinate and communicate product and technical information requests to ensure accurate and timely responses.
- Business Communications: Assist in the development of professional documents using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to support business communications and presentations.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in sales support, sales operations, or customer service within a B2C or retail environment.
• Experience working with CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Strong desire and commitment to sales
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to interpret technical specifications
• Basic understanding of engineering drawings
• Analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work with a variety of personality types
• Ability to work in fast paced environment
Travel Requirements
This role is up to 20% travel

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $70,000 USD - $95,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
