Job Description

The Larson Customer Service team is comprised of front-line professionals who take pride in ensuring an excellent customer experience. They are the personal connection between our company and our retail customers.

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be answering pricing, delivery, and product questions for the stores that purchase our product. You will quote and enter orders, and resolve issues for our customers. In this fast-paced and supportive environment, you’ll be talking on the phone and using online tools as you assist store associates.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in a customer service role in an office or call center environment, be able to multi-task, have excellent communication skills (written and verbal), and be detail-oriented focused on accuracy.

Location: This position is designated remote within 90 miles from our Brookings, SD office location

  • Communicate directly with Larson customers by phone or email.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries.
  • Handle and resolve customer complaints in a friendly manner.
  • Provide pricing and delivery information.
  • Enter orders and process warranty claims with accuracy.
  • Communicate and coordinate with internal and external contacts.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain or exceed all departmental customer satisfaction and performance goals.
  • Complete other projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of customer service experience
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Outlook and data entry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written)
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Available some Saturdays (about 3-4 a year) and holidays.

  • Experience in an office or call center environment
  • Some college
