Forbes Advisor is looking for SEO Executive for its Marketplace platform. Working with the Forbes Marketplace SEO team, you will learn valuable SEO skills and will work very closely with various Forbes production teams. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven SEO Executive to grow our offering in the US for financial services information and products. We need you to help take us to the next level.

We have big aspirations, and you’ll have all the tools and resources needed at your disposal to make us the #1 organic site in the US for financial services: credit cards, banking, loans, mortgages and investing. You will be one member of a larger team spread between the UK, US & India working to improve and build Forbes Advisor.

Responsibilities:

• Report to the SEO Manager for our Legal verticals to build out the editorial
• roadmaps
• Conduct detailed keyword research to find the most relevant and effectiv terms/phrases with the highest ROI
• Analyze high performing competitor domains to provide insight and opportunities
• for future growth
• Optimize current content including title tag and meta description, headers and copy
• through robust content briefs to improve ranking and internal linking
• improvements
• Compile backlink analysis to assist SEO team with outreach opportunities
• Analyze existing content for schema and additional Tech SEO opportunities
• Monitor and analyze overall site performance including rankings and conversion

• At least 3 years of SEO experience
• Experience with on-page SEO including keyword research, competitive analysis, internal linking and content briefs
• Experience with off-page SEO, you’ve worked on outreach projects before and have
• sourced relevant external web pages
• You’ve used SEO tools like Ahrefs, SEMRush, GSC and Google Analytics
• Working knowledge of technical SEO elements such as schema, canonicals and site
• speed
• Have a passion for continued learning and staying up to date on industry news
• Highly organized, with strong attention to detail
• Knowledge and experience with WordPress and other CMS
• Experience within the U.S./UK legal industry preferred but not required
